This website offers a unique
perspective
on dreams and their interpretations based on Biblical truths.
Here, you will
gain a greater understanding of how the spirit and the soul
connect to our
creator. Without a doubt, God speaks to all mankind through the
language of
dreams. Dreams offer wisdom to heal us, to transform the mind,
restore the soul
and become the spiritual Christ-like individual he desires for
us all.
Dreams quicken the mind and the spirit to receive strength
when we are weak,
experience peace when we are anxious, and deliver sanity to the
troubled mind.
As a counselor, I have used dream therapy with all my clients.
I have had
wonderful results using the knowledge revealed through the
dreams of my clients.
They give me the message and I interpret the healing answer.
God is no respecter
of persons, he speaks to all mankind through dreams.
The Bible gives us many examples of dreamers (believers and
non-believers),
and tells us about the individuals who interpret them. Daniel
and Joseph, were
among those individuals. They both dreamt, they both prophesied
and both
interpreted the dreams of others.
You will discover, as I did, throughout scripture, that all
of our dreams are
messages from God with a purpose in mind; (to expose negative
and positive
characteristics), to reveal a mystery about ourselves (hidden
agendas, talents,
gifts, solutions to a problem, warnings of possible illness,
and other things
about ourselves which we are unaware of). Dreams also reveal
future events,
potential danger, as well as healing dreams for both the mind
and body.
It is sad that among the Christian population there are few
who acknowledge
the value of their dreams because of ignorance, fear and
paranoia which still
resides in the church today. We are the population which should
be heads above
occult religions in the arena of spiritual wisdom, but sadly I
find it to be the
reverse. It is God the Father who is the Founder and Creator of
the "dream
language." It began with Abraham in Genesis, appearing
throughout the entire New
Testament, and has not stopped to this current day.
In fact, dreams should be honored, not ridiculed. Dreams are
given to us for
the purpose of Spiritual growth, communication with God and
healing the soul. If
the Prophets of the Old Testament had ignored their visions and
dreams, our
Bible would never have been written and our Savior would never
have lived past
the age of two. If Mary's husband, Joseph, had ignored his
dream, warning him to
flee to Egypt with his family, Jesus would have been killed by
the command of
Herod.
Without Josephs prophetic dreams of honor, would he
have withstood so much
persecution for so many years (Genesis 37:5-9)? Without a
vision, would Mary
have agreed to her pregnancy, (Luke 1:26-38)? Without a vision,
would Moses have
risked his life to free the Jewish people from Egypt, (Exodus
chapters 3-4)? And
what about the vision of Revelations by John? Without the
prophecies from Isaiah,
David, Joel, (and others), would we have recognized the
messiah? These are but a
few examples listed in the Bible of people who heard from God
through a vision
or dream and acted upon it.
"I will pour out
my spirit on ALL
PEOPLE. Your sons and daughters will prophesy,"
------Joel 2:28-32
To prophecy is to be under the divine guidance of God, living by faith,
relying on a source much greater then ourselves. There are many
fundamentalist
who believe prophecy no longer exists, but Paul tells us
that,"We should
eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of
prophecy,"(I
Corinthians 14:1). Why would Paul tell us to seek after
something that no longer
exists? "Gods people parish without a vision," because
the purpose of a vision
is to edify and encourage us to persevere in times of despair.
Visions give us
hope for the future and give us the motivation to achieve the
God given desires
of the heart. Yes, there are those that prophecy from other
Gods, which the
Bible refers to as false prophets. We will discuss more on that
in the pages
ahead.
God still speaks to his people today just as he did
centuries ago. The
characters written about in the Bible, (believers and
non-believers), have
always given significant importance to their dreams and would
not think if
invalidating them as we do today. There are over 121 references
to dreams in the
Bible, of which none of them were ignored.
Within the e-book and e-courses that follow, I intend to
share my experiences
as a Christian, Pastoral Counselor, a dreamer and an
interpreter. The Dreams and
stories I share pertaining to clients are real but names have
been changed for
the purpose of confidentiality.
My research is founded on the word of God but it's not
feasible to prove the
Bible by using the Bible as my only resource. Therefore I have
had to explore
and incorporate some secular theories in order to prove the
validity of my own
words. I pray that what I have to share in the following pages
will help you to
develop a better understanding of yourself, your dreams and
your creator. I hope
you will be open-minded as Truth reveals itself within these
pages...
